Description
This course is in three parts:
Public speaking (Khulya Sabirli)
This course is dedicated to mastering the art of public speaking and persuasion. Participants will learn how to craft compelling speeches, employ effective rhetorical techniques, and engage diverse audiences. The curriculum includes modules on structuring arguments, using persuasive language, enhancing vocal delivery, and managing public speaking anxiety. Through practical workshops and individual presentations, students will gain the confidence and skills needed to influence and captivate listeners in any setting.
Emotionalintelligence (Leyla Seyidzade)
The Emotional Intelligence course covers the following content:
- The historical outlook into the development of EQ, theories associated with the EQ definition, scientific background.
- The overview of the five elements of EQ: self-awareness, self-control, motivation, empathy, social skills.
- The skills defined as social skills: communication skills, persuasion and influencing, conflict management, establishing bonds, change management.
- Extrinsic and intrinsic motivation.
Personal branding (Solmaz Muradli)
Understanding the job market and self-assessment; Crafting a winning resume; Navigating online applications; Preparing for pre-employment assessments and tests; Mastering interview skills (preparation and techniques; Networking and building professional relationships; Negotiating job offers & post offer etiquette.
Compétences requises
Public speaking
Basic Understanding of Communication Principles: Familiarity with the basics of communication to facilitate advanced learning in speech and persuasion. Experience with Public Speaking: While not mandatory, previous experience with public speaking can be beneficial. Interest in Persuasive Communication: A keen interest in learning how to influence and persuade others effectively.
Emotional intelligence
Basic understanding of such definitions as soft skills, motivation, self-esteem, persuasion skills

Basic understanding of career goals, Self-awareness, Communication skills, Critical thinking, Teamwork

Public speaking
Speech Development and Organization: Participants will learn to structure their speeches effectively, ensuring a logical flow of ideas and a strong, persuasive argument.
Mastery of Rhetorical Strategies: Students will gain an understanding of rhetorical devices such as ethos, pathos, and logos, and learn how to use them effectively to enhance persuasion.
Confidence in Public Speaking: The course aims to build participants' confidence in public speaking settings, reducing anxiety and improving overall delivery.
Audience Analysis and Engagement: Students will learn techniques to analyze their audience, tailor messages accordingly, and engage listeners to maximize impact.
Vocal Delivery and Nonverbal Communication: Focus will be placed on using vocal tone, pacing, and body language to enhance speech delivery and persuasiveness.
Handling Questions and Feedback: Participants will develop skills to handle live questions and feedback confidently and adeptly during their presentations.

Practicing storytelling techniques to effectively answer behavioral questions. Maintaining contact with connections and nurturing relationships over time.
